Our mission at the Mother Root is to establish equitable access to comprehensive healthcare for marginalized individuals who have endured complex trauma in Northern New Mexico. Focusing on women, children, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, we offer accessible trauma-informed care to address existing gaps in healthcare services. By recognizing and addressing the unique barriers to wellness for exploited persons, we aim to promote physical and emotional recovery through compassionate medical care, education, and advocacy. Ultimately, our goal is to break the cycles of violence and trauma within our larger community.
